Obituary of Joseph Munster II Joseph Louis Munster II Rockwood – Joseph L. Munster II, 51, passed away December 5, 2018, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor. He was born January 26, 1967, in Greenville, the son of Frederick J. Sr. and Bernadette (Rodrigue) Munster. Joe was a true Rockwood legend.

He was a proud Master Guide for Maine, knew everything about the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping. Joe was a hunter safety instructor, and loved taking kids hunting and fishing; he especially enjoyed youth hunting day. Joe would always joke with kids and ask, “Who am I?

”, and they would respond, “Half Man/Half Amazing”. Joe was also a teacher and a tutor. Many knew him as a “Mr. Fix It” type and he was always willing to help anyone with anything.

Joe was certainly a craftsman in general but will most recently be remembered for his leather goods. He was a dedicated and loving father to his five children. Joe was a family man who believed in putting his kids before anything without thinking twice about it.

He is survived by his wife, Khatuna (Bekauri) Munster; mother, Bernadette Munster; three sons, Richard “Junior” and his wife, Felicia, Joseph “Marvin”, and Anthony “Giggity”; two daughters, Samantha “Timone”, and Kimberly “Kimiko”; three brothers, Frederick “John” Munster Jr. and his wife, Regina, Karl Munster and his wife, Carolyn, and their children, Luke, Matthew, and Andrew, and James Munster and his wife, Melissa; and two sisters, Kristin McDonough and husband, Steve, and their children, Abbygail, Thomas, and Connor, and Krisann Favreau and her children, Kody and his wife, Gizem, Delany, and Hailey. Joe was predeceased by his father, Frederick Munster Sr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 11AM Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Greenville, with Father Aaron Damboise celebrant. Burial will be in the Saint Joseph Cemetery, Rockwood, in the spring.
