Obituary of Robert Roberts Monson – Robert C. Roberts, 86, passed away peacefully January 12, 2019, at his home with family by his side. He was born June 25, 1932, in Onawa, the son of Coburn G. and Eula A. (Perry) Roberts. Robert served the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway for over 44 years. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Beverly L. (Brown) Roberts of Monson; four children, Kevin Roberts of Monson, Kirby Roberts and wife, Nancy, of Sangerville, Tina Roberts of Willimantic, and Kerne Roberts and wife, Dot, of Elliotsville; brother-in-law, Roy McSorley of Elliotsville; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia McSorley, and three brothers, William, Raymond “Ding” and Rusty Roberts.

A memorial service with military honors will be held 10am Saturday, January 26, 2019, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with Pastor Steve Nute officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.
