Obituary for Joshua Kane Hobbs Malabar, Florida – Joshua Kane Hobbs, 41, passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2018 at his home in Malabar, Florida. Born February 1, 1977 in Falls Church VA he was the son and step son of Kathryn Hobbs and Robert Dixon. Grandson of the late Fredrick R. Hobbs and Anna K. Dietz Hobbs Joshua attended Davidson High School graduating in 1994.

Joshua’s life was far too short to many, but those that were touched by him understood the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time at which one lives. His smile and sense of humor brought so much joy to the family. ‘Josh” was a true lover of nature enjoying camping with friends and family.

He was always the optimist and will be missed by all. Friends may visit Wednesday evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Rev. Eric Edwards will conduct a funeral service Thursday at 9 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery.
