Mr. West departed peacefully at his residence at the of 65. Mr. West is survived by his wife of 44 years, Margaret West of Ville Platte, LA; fives sisters, Sandra Williams (Clyde) of Bayou Chicot, LA, Ethel Robinson (Stanley) of Norman, OK, Minell Henderson (Wade) of Phoenix, AZ, Lionell Guillory of Church Point, LA and Brenda Allison (Daniel) of Ville Platte, LA; two brothers, Robert L. West of Eunice, LA and Rufus J. West of Ville Platte, LA; two uncles, Jessie and Henry West of Ville Platte, LA; one aunt, Martha Fontenot of Ville Platte, LA; three nephews he raised as his own, Brandon West of Fort Worth, TX, Gregory and Paul West both of Lafayette, LA; and a host of extended family members and friends.
