Joy A. Mendenhall February 10, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook Joy A. Mendenhall, 84, of Chillicothe, passed away 10:05 a.m. Sunday, February 10, 2019 at her residence following a brief illness. She was born April 5, 1934, in Ross County to the late Lawrence E. and Ruth E. Seymour McFadden. On December 20, 1952, she married Kenneth R. Mendenhall who preceded her in death September 11, 2012.

Surviving are children, Terry (Sue) Mendenhall, of Lawton, OK, Debbie Anderson, of Newark, OH, Richard Mendenhall and Cindy (Scott) McNeal, both of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Jeremy, Christopher, Brad, Joshua, Teresa, Heather, Heidi, Joe, Allison, Jessica and Kaitlynn; great-grandchildren, Taj, Morgan, Olivia, Jackson, Carson, Macie, Caleb, Colby, MacKenzie, Ryann and Marshall; many nieces and nephews; two sisters, Phyllis Cooper, of Bainbridge and Sandra (Rick) Ratliff, of Orient. She was predeceased by son-in-law, Jeff Anderson; sisters, Wilma Uhrig, Chloa Gustafson, and Karlita Ogan and a brother, Donald McFadden. Joy was a 1952 graduate of Huntington High School and she was a member of Beulah Chapel CCCU.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019 in Beulah Chapel Church with Rev. Delbert Allison and Rev. Michael Blevins.

Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Beulah Chapel CCCU 585 Chester Hill Rd.
