OBITUARY Joy Hambleton October 18, 1938 – September 9, 2018 Joy Hambleton, 79, of Collegedale, Tennessee passed away on September 9, 2018. She was the Administrator at Life Care Center of East Ridge for 10 years. Joy was a devoted and faithful Seventh Day Adventist whose greatest passion besides her children was reading.

She was a fiercely loyal friend and loving mother who had tremendous faith in the power of prayer. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Frank, George, Larry, Gene and Tom Lewis; sister, Joan Lawrence. She is survived by her sons, Cary, Scott and Mark Hambleton and life-long friends, Dell Evans and Bobbie Sue Weeks.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, Valley-View Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 3:30 pm with interment following at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, Tennessee. Arrangements are held by the Valley-View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Ooltewah, TN 37421.
