Joyce A. Myers, age 86, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 in Biloxi, Mississippi. Joyce had been a resident of Logansport. She was born in Peru and attended St. Charles Elementary and Peru High School where she was a member of the “Tigerette” dance team.

She was an Honorary Member of the Logansport Alphi Xi Chaper of Psi Iota Xi Philanthropic Sorority. An avid sports fan, Joyce especially favored Purdue and Notre Dame. Joyce loved life, but most of all she loved her precious family; especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her many wonderful friends.

She will be missed by all! Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Myers; parents, Arnetta “Betty” Hennigan and Robert Hosman and step-father Gerald Hennigan. She is survived by her four children, Paula Smith, Indianapolis, Karen (Mark) Martin, Deer Creek, Tim (Belle) Myers, Nashville, TN, and Dan (Vicki) Myers, Biloxi, MS; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; step sister and brother, Monica (Richard) Zehner and Greg Hennigan both of Monroe, GA.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 27, 2019, at 1:00 p.m., at All Saints Catholic Church, with Father Jeff Martin officiating. Visitation will be at Kroeger Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
