Joyce Evelyn Sherlock, 72 of Shepherdsville passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at her home with her family by her side. She was a Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her parents Denzel DeVore and Ruth Bunch; her daughter Jennifer DeVore.

Joyce is survived by her husband John J. Sherlock; her children Steve Sherlock (Shannon) of Clarksville, TN, Mike sherlock of Clarksville, TN and John H. Sherlock (Christy) of Shepherdsville; her siblings Edna White, Sally Blondin, Jake DeVore, Jimmy DeVore, Beverly Bower, Marty DeVore, Barbara DeVore, Randy DeVore, Phyllis DeVore, Billy DeVore, Teresa Kriete, Tommy Garmon, Timmy Garmon and Ellen Courtier; her grandchildren Abbi and Maddi Sherlock along with her step grandchildren Gage Sherlock, Payton Sherlock, Jonathan & Ashley McClanahan. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
