Joyce I. Bickel, 80, of Nisbet died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, at UPMC Susquehanna-Williamsport. Born May 27, 1938, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late David C. and Emma Mae Mincemoyer Alexander.

Surviving is her husband of 53 years, George T. Bickel Jr.; children, Christine Bickel, of Nisbet, Tammy Bickel, of Columbia, S.C., and Jody Bickel, of Nisbet; three grandsons, Nicholas and Joshua Spearman and Joseph O’Steen Jr.; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, George T. Bickel III, two sisters and a brother. A graveside service to honor the life of Joyce will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joyce’s name to Hope Enterprises, 2401 Reach Road, Williamsport, PA 17701.
