OBITUARY Juan Antonio Plata May 16, 1948 – December 5, 2018 Juan Antonio Plata-Aragon, 70 passed away on December 2, 2018 in Mesquite, Texas. He was born May 6, 1948 in Durango, Durango Mexico to Luis Plata-Valdez and Maria Aragon. Juan was raised in Durango, Durango Mexico, married Irma Sosa-Curiel in 1970 and had four children.

He was a maître D at the Dallas Country Club while also a part of the staff at Texas Stadium for more than thirty years. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren along with watching his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. He will be remembered as being compassionate and uplifting.

He was preceded in death by his father, Luis Plata-Valdez and mother, Maria de los Angeles Aragon. He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Irma Plata-Sosa; sons, Juan Antonio Plata, Jr., Jose Angel Plata; daughters, Laura Plata, and Irma Leticia Plata.
