Juan’s Obituary JUAN MANUEL RAZ JULY 24, 1956 – FEBRUARY 16, 2019 Juan Manuel Raz, 62, was welcomed into the kingdom of heaven on Saturday, February 16, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. Juan Manuel was born on July 24, 1956 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to Gustavo (+) and Amelia Diaz Raz. He lived his life in Laredo, Texas, until he and his family relocated to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in order to work for the Ford Motor Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

His wife and children made Oklahoma their home. We now return him to his native land, where he will lay to rest in his hometown. We will miss him dearly, but will always hold him in our hearts forever.

He was preceded in death by his father: Gustavo Raz. Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved spouse: Nora Maria Raz; children: Monica Denise (Andrew) Patterson, Jose Gustavo (Pershay) Raz, Juan Manuel Raz Jr.; grandchildren: Jacob Isaac Raz and Ava Lilliana Raz; mother: Amelia Raz; siblings: Rosa (Alfonso) Badillo, Olga (Fermin) Perez, Martha Lopez, Hilda Rodriguez, Sandra (Alfredo) Garza, Luis Fernando Raz, as well as a great number of brother and sister’s in law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and beloved friends and neighbors from Oklahoma and Texas. The family will be gathering to celebrate his life on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. Funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019 to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered at 9 a.m. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Juan Jose Cadena Jr., Ramiro Zapata III, Mark Richards, Luis Enrique Gonzalez Jr., Jorge Raz, Luis Raz, Gustavo Raz, and Fermin Perez. You may express your condolences, share your favorite memories, and sign the guestbook online at: www. joejacksonfuneralchapels.com.
