Celia Verdiguel, 84, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Verdiguel is preceded in death by her husband Mario Verdiguel; son, Leopoldo Verdiguel, brothers and sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her children Jorge Verdiguel, Luis (Melissa) Verdiguel, Lupita (Joe) Luna, Gabriel (Linda E.) Verdiguel, Celia (Brigido) Martinez, San Juana Verdiguel (Sergio Gilberto Ochoa), Jose Angel Verdiguel, and Lupe Ayala; siblings, Ernestina (Cipriano) Villarreal, Minerva (Arturo) Gonzalez, Ramon Guajardo, and Dora Verdiguel.

She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Gamez and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. Rosary will be held at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow immediately after visitation to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
