Obituary for Juanita Laura Hughart Juanita Laura Hughart (nee Toler), age 80, of Brook Park, Ohio; went home to be with Jesus and reunited with her soul mate and beloved husband of 56 years, the late Roger B. Hughart who passed away in August 2013. Born in Kentucky, June 6, 1938, to the late Elbert and Dorothy Toler (nee Mullins), loving mother of Debbie Zingale, Tim (Denise), and Gina (Greg); best grandmother ever to Cory (Jackie), Amanda (Michael), Nicholas, Mark, Brandon (fiancé Kristen), Joshua, Jesse, and Spenser; and cherished brother of Christine (Dilmer) Richmond , Elbert Toler, Dallie Smith, Stella (Jim) Amick , Michael Toler; Aunt and Great-Aunt to many. She passed away peacefully on July 4th.
Juanita was a true lover of life. She and Roger enjoyed traveling to the fullest. They spent every second they could together; pulling the slot machine handle, playing Bingo, camping, bowling, Pinochle, and fully enjoyed every second with their children and grandchildren.
Juanita was always singing or dancing around the house and she loved making people laugh. Family was a priority for her; getting up to clean before the rooster crowed, so she could cook three meals for and spend time with her wonderful husband and family. She never met a stranger and her home was always open to everyone.
She became the neighborhood mom to all her children’s friends. Though retired from JCPenney, Juanita also enjoyed working at Woolworth and the cafeteria at Gina’s school. She won no awards or accolades on earth, but she was amazing at every role she played.
Her reward was awaiting her in Heaven, and the angels are rejoicing. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018, from 2-6 PM at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070, where her funeral service will be held on Monday, July 9 ,2018 at 12 PM Noon. A committal service will immediately follow at Westwood Abbey Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park.
