Obituary for Judge Thomas Blackwood Judge Thomas Blackwood a resident of Wynnewood, Ok, was born on July 19, 1930 in Pauls Valley, Ok to Mattie Belle (Palmertree) and Judge Blackwood. He passed away August 30, 2018 in Wynnewood, Ok at the age of 88. He married Betty Jo (Whitney) on July 19, 1949 in Gainesville, Tx.

He had lived all his life in Wynnewood, and graduated Wynnewood High School (member of 1949 State Championship team), served in the US Army during the Korean War, served in the Nation Guard, served on the Wynnewood City Council, and was a Mason. He had worked as a Street Commisioner for the city of Wynnewood and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wynnewood. He is survived by his daughter Deborah Kay Hays and husband Fred Hays of Wynnewood, Ok; and his son Thomas Lee Blackwood and wife Sara Blackwood of Wayne, Ok.

He was preceded by his wife Betty Jo; son Stephen Lynn Blackwood, and granddaughter Tommie Jo Blackwood Hopson Services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Wynnewood, Ok on Thursday September 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Officiated by Rev. Jarrod Kendall.
