Judith A. Jones, age 79 of Massillon, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 1, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born in Massillon on June 10, 1939 daughter of the late Alvin and Helen (Davis) Houck. Judy was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church and Sons and Daughters of Herman.

Judy is survived by her husband of 58 years, John W. Jones, sons and daughters-in-law, Earl and Debra Jones and Steve and Robin Jones, daughter Terri Schoeppner, brothers Edward (Ramona) Houck and John (Tuti) Houck, sister-in-law Elizabeth “Betty” (Don) Enochs and numerous nieces and nephews. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Brandi (Chris), Amanda, Danielle, John, Lindsay, Steven (Holly), Alexis and Anthony and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law Walt Schoeppner Jr. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 1:30 P.M. at St. Barbara Catholic Church.

Burial to follow the service in Brookfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 3 to 6 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home – Massillon Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital .
