Judith “Judy” Kay Torphy, 72, of Terre Haute, passed away Monday October 22, 2018 in her residence. Judy was born August 14, 1946 in Terre Haute. Her parents were Richard Davis and Nelda Wickersham Davis.

She was a 1964 graduate of Garfield High School. She enjoyed quilting and spent many hours at Wabash Valley Fabrics. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and especially enjoyed attending their softball and baseball games.

She was known as “Everyone’s Grandma Judy”. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Patrick Torphy who died January 13, 2017. She is survived by her daughter Rachel Millington and her husband Bryan of Terre Haute.

She is survived by a half – sister, Kim Grubb and her husband Dan of Henderson, TN. She survived by her grandchildren, Jonathan, Addison, Bryan and Bryn Millington. She is survived by one niece, Erin Grubb.

Memorial Services will be Sunday November 4th, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at The Wabash Valley Family Sports Center, 599 Tabortown Road, Terre Haute, IN, 47803. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, that contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 115 West Washington Street #1180 South, Indianapolis, IN 4620 or to The Hospice of the Wabash Valley.
