Judith L. (nee Specht) Tauschek, age 71, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Hospital. Judith was born November 14, 1946 to Elroy and June (nee Ehaney) Specht. She attended Starlight Grade School in Sheboygan Falls and graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1964.

Judith married Joseph R. Tauschek on October 23, 1992 at St. Peter Lutheran Church. She was employed at Sheboygan County Interfaith Org. , where she coordinated the farmers market… Read More » and worked in the office.

Judith was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Sheboygan, where she was President of Women of the ELCA and participated in the quilting club. She enjoyed working on her hobby, J & J Patio Crafts, where she did all the painting on her wood garden pieces. She enjoyed her house plants and her flower garden.

Her love for animals and birds was always first. Judy’s dogs Sammy, Tippy, Daisy Mae and Pepper J were her greatest joy, and she spoiled them at every opportunity. Judith is survived by her husband Joseph and one son, Hal A. (Candice) Specht of Sheboygan and their children, Lily and Gabby.

She is further survived by her foster daughter Patty (Rick) Kauger of Sheboygan, her mother-in-law Pat Henrichs of Sheboygan, brother Richard (Kathy) Specht of Elkhart Lake, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and her beloved dog Sadie. She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law Al Henrichs and her grandparents. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 15, 2018 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2104 Geele Ave in Sheboygan.

Pastor Kristin Berglund will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday from 9:30 – 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at St. Lukes Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Peter Lutheran Church. The family would like to thank the staff of Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Hospital for their compassionate and loving care.
