Obituary for Judith M. Pittman Her welcoming smile has faded and her sparkling eyes have grown dim. Judy Giblin Pittman is free from her suffering with ALS. She went to be with her Lord on Monday, Nov.

5, 2018. She was the wife of William (Bill) Pittman of Naples, FL. She was born in Fall River, MA on May 4, 1940 to James L. and Elizabeth (McDonald) Giblin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, William E. Giblin. Judy was so proud of her six children, Thomas (Indianapolis, IN), Joseph (Theresa) Redondo Beach, CA, William Jr. (Alice), Silver Spring, MD, Martin (Elizabeth), Leverett, MA, Ellen (Roland) Samimy, Coral Gables, FL, and Karen Pittman (Coconut Creek, FL), seven grandchildren and numerous brothers and sisters-in-laws. She prided herself on her adaptability, especially in helping her family adjust to10 moves resulting from Bill’s corporate career.

She was proud to have returned to college after her children were grown and earned both a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Education from Wheelock College in Boston. She and Bill retired to Naples 25 years ago. She was especially proud of the many adventures they shared on their power boat, Merasheen.

Judy was someone who saw God’s face in everyone she met and was loved by all. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Ave. N., Naples, FL 34108.

Burial will follow in the church memorial garden. Arrangements are being handled by Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Judith M. Pittman please visit our Sympathy Store.
