Obituary for Carmen Anthony Triano Carmen Anthony Triano, 74, of Naples, FL, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018. Formerly of Manalapan, NJ, he had been a Naples resident for the last 12 years. He was born February 13, 1944 in Newark, NJ, the son of Anthony and Maria P. (née Sardella) Triano.
He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was an avid golfer and a card shark. Carmen was a man that was loved by all and would do anything for anyone.
Mr. Triano is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Rose Marie (née Capella) Triano; his beloved daughters, Gina (Bill) Sypher of Jackson, NJ, Carmella Triano of Phoenix, AL and Dana Triano of Old Bridge, NJ; his brother and sisters, Frank (the late Marie) Yacobelli of Cape May, NJ, Nora (John) Simone of Lafayette, NJ, Mary (George) Lenhardt of Brick, NJ and Rose (William) Policastro of Watertown, CT; his sisters and brother-in-law, Lois, Gerry, Marge, Dottie, Anna Marie and Anthony; six cherished grandchildren, Meghin, Timothy, Devin, Billy, Lilly and Matthew; four treasured great grandchildren, Mason, Jailyn, Jordyn and Timothy Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will take place on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home, 28300 Tamiami Trail South, Bonita Springs. A vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, January 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 28300 Beaumont Road, Bonita Springs.
Military Honors will be rendered at the conclusion of the mass. A private interment service will be held and burial will take place at the Sarasota National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Triano family.
