Judith (Judy) Rabach, 76, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay. Judy was born on April 7, 1942 in the Town of Gardner to the late Clarence and Lorraine (Bouche) Bosman. She attended Gardner Grade School and graduated from Brussels High School in 1959.

After high school, Judy attended Door-Kewaunee Normal School before finding employment at the Milwaukee Shoe Company. It is at the shoe company where she met and fell in love with her future husband, Ralph, whom she married on September 22, 1962. Together Ralph and Judy raised their four children on the family farm.

Judy loved gardening, word searches, occasional visits to the casino with Ralph and spoiling her husband, children and grandchildren. Looking for the next best recipe to try out on the family was always on her mind. If a meal didn’t include at least two meats, it really wasn’t a meal.

Surviving Judy is her husband of 56 years, Ralph; daughters, Carri (Joel) Emmerich, Tammy (Les) LaViolette, Dawn (Larry) Uecker, and son, Steve (Annie) Rabach. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Christina (Jesse), Danny, Amanda (Owen), Forrest and Bennett; two great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Abigail; an uncle; two aunts; nieces and nephews; cousins; stepbrothers and stepsisters. Preceding Judy in death are her parents, Clarence and Lorraine and stepfather, Wenzel (James) Hrabik.

Visitation will be held at Huehns Funeral Home on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a service at 4:00 p.m. officiated by Dr. Rev. Matthew R. Knapp Sr. of Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church. “Our family would like to extend warm wishes of gratitude to Door County Emergency Services and the caring and compassionate nurses at Bellin Memorial Hospital’s Cardiac Intensive Care Unit”.

Huehns Funeral Home, Inc. and Door County Crematory LLC are assisting the Rabach family. Expressions of sympathy, memories, and photos of Judy may be shared with her family through her tribute page at www. huehnsfuneralhome.com.
