Jeffrey R. Plaszkiewicz, 60, of Egg Harbor, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018. He was born on April 16, 1958 in Milwaukee, the son of Leonard and Grace (Borzych) Plaszkiewicz. Jeff graduated from West Milwaukee High School in 1976 before attending the University of Wisconsin – Stout.

On October 10, 1992, he was united in marriage to Brenda Sue Seegert in Milwaukee. Jeff worked as a draftsman at Marine Travelift for 16 years. He had a love for bowling – on Sundays and in the Tuesday night league.

Jeff enjoyed fishing, baseball, billiards, playing ball in the yard, car rides, and spending time with his dogs. He had a passion for improving his home and landscaping the yard. Never missing a game, Jeff was an avid Packer and Brewers fan.

Jeff will be greatly missed by his wife, Brenda; two children, Joseph and Amanda; father, Leonard of Florida; brother, John Plaszkiewicz of New Berlin; and two faithful labs that he protected like family, Luke and Toby. Jeff appreciated being around his loyal friends and will always be remembered as the intelligent, fearless, goofy guy he was. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Grace Plaszkiewicz; and brother, James Plaszkiewicz.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. Family and friends will also be getting together at Apple Valley Lanes in Sturgeon Bay following the service for a celebration of life. Huehns Funeral Home, Inc. & Door County Crematory LLC are assisting Jeff’s family.
