Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Tony Deese officiating.

Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church, 10 Providence Lane, Daleville, AL 36322.

Judy was preceded in death by her brothers, Jennings Benefield and James C. Benefield. Survivors include her husband, James William Yelverton, Enterprise; two sons, Todd Yelverton, Enterprise; Lee Yelverton (Karen) New Brockton, AL; two grandsons, James Dylan Yelverton (Jessica) Perry Bradlee Yelverton; two great-grandchildren, Zachary Rodgers; Hailey Rodgers; sisters, Evelyn Smith; Patricia Arrington; brothers, Joe R. Benefield; Jerry W. Benefield (Pat); Julian D. Benefield (Myra); numerous nieces and nephews.
