Judy Boggs, (nee Jefferson) of Cedar Grove, IN, passed away on January 29, 2019 at the age of 71. She was born on November 17, 1947 to Willie and Grace (nee Thompson) Jefferson in Dearborn County. She married Leon Boggs on October 17, 1970 and they were blessed with two children: Leon M. and Dalana.

Judy worked at Huber Company for over 20 years. She was a member of Church on Fire and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was one of the most loving individuals and always went out of her way to share her love and support to those that new her.

In doing so she became a second mom to many. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 48 years Leon Boggs; wonderful children: Leon M. (Cheryl) Boggs, Dalana (Jim) Wandsnider; cherished grandchildren: Hunter Boggs, Brittney Wandsnider, Jacob Boggs, Kylie Wandsnider, Emma Wandsnider, Cohl Wandsnider and Reese Wandsnider; dear sisters: Roberta Neff and Sue Kincaid. Judy was preceded in death by her parents: Willie and Grace Jefferson; siblings: Elgin Jefferson, Paul Jefferson, Lois Nowlin and Donna Mitchell.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH, from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 12 PM. Pastor Pete Witt will be conducting the funeral services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Abraham’s Blessings/ Waweza Movement.
