OBITUARY Judy Elaine Maxey November 21, 1944 – October 21, 2018 Mrs. Judy Elaine Maxey, age 73, of Winder, passed away at her residence on Sunday, October 21, 2018. Mrs. Maxey was the daughter of the late M.J. and Carolyn Louise Fleeman Everett. Throughout her life, Mrs. Maxey was a dedicated homemaker.

Mrs. Maxey is survived by her husband of 58 years, Mr. Richard Maxey of Winder; sons, David Maxey of Lawrenceville, and Ricky (Sulan) Maxey of Winder; brother, M.J. Everett of Auburn; sisters, Ann Parks of Doraville, Sue Bolden of Winder, Bobbie House of Winder, and Marilyn McDaniel of Winder; four grandchildren, Justin, Creston, Kaleigh, and Brandon Maxey. A graveside service to honor the life of Mrs. Judy Maxey will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Barrow Memorial Gardens with Pastor J.R. Ewing officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
