Mrs. Judy Lane “Nan” Bullock Kidwell, age 61, of Mt. Vernon, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital, with her family by her side. She was born on February 22, 1957, in Mt.

Vernon, KY, a daughter of the late Hearl Bullock, and the late Lucy Barron. She was a deputy jailer at Rockcastle County Detention Center for many years. She was a member of Fairground Hill Holiness Church, and enjoyed cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Those left to celebrate her life are her children: Kristy Gail York “James Williams” of Mt. Vernon, KY, Shannon York of Mt. Vernon, KY, and step children: Jennifer Fish of Berea, KY, Sheila Kidwell of West Virginia, Shanna Lunsford and Butch of Mt.

Vernon, KY, and Missy Kidwell and Christina of Brodhead, KY; her grandchildren: Jahrisa York and Joseph, Jaleigha York and Bryce, Alyssa York, Sharla Nichols and T.J., Matthew Lunsford and Samantha, Richie Fish, Alex Anders and Genna, and Seth Anders and Misty; her great-grandchildren: Leighton Barron, Letty Barron, Nova Angel, Mason Lunsford, Ella Lunsford, and Ezra Lunsford; a brother: Donald Ray Bullock and Thelma of Brodhead, KY; a sister: Mary Rose Debord and Terry of Eubank, KY; and special friends Martina Alcorn and Donnie Barnett; as well as a host of many friends and neighbors. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands: George Christopher York and James “Pap” Kidwell; and two brothers: Robert Earl Bullock and Jearl Bullock. Visitation for Mrs. Kidwell will be Thursday, February 21, 2019, from 6pm-9pm.

Funeral will be Friday, February 22, 2019, at 11am, with Bro. Robert Miller, and Bro. Thomas Adkins officiating.

Both will be held at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Burial will follow in Freedom Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Zach Napier, Micah Owens, Brad Johnson, Nathan Carter, Steve Wells, and Scotty McFerron.

Honorary casket bearers will be Dallas Clifford and Steve Cameron.
