Judy Mae Staton Wood, age 63, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. She attended God’s House of Prayer in Cumming, GA. Judy enjoyed reading books, hunting and being outdoors.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She loved her family and enjoyed every moment she spent with them. She will be dearly missed.

Judy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Grover and Lucy Staton; father, J.W. Staton; and brother, Kenny Staton. She is survived by her husband, Michael Wood; children, Joanie Trentham and Lisa Chase; siblings, Jack (Tammy) Staton, Diane (David) Brown, and David Staton; mother, Evelyn Scruggs; 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren; along with many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services for Judy will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev.

James Hadley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming is in charge of arrangements.
