Julie A. Caris (Joldersma) passed away peacefully on September 6, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. She was a proud Northview and Michigan State University graduate and was an active member of her church. In her pursuit of life-long learning, Julie loved to spend time reading, gardening, and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Cecile Joldersma. Julie is survived by her husband Dan, and is lovingly remembered by her daughter Christina Mulford, her brother John, friends Song, Kevin, and Lauren Wolf, and many cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, 7495 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546, Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11:00 am.

Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lacks Cancer Center, 250 Cherry St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 or Forest Hills Presbyterian Church.
