Obituary for Julie Ann Vess Lentz Julie Ann Vess Lentz, resident of Belle Chasse, Louisiana went to her Lord peacefully in her home on January 5, 2019 at the age of 55. Julie was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 10, 1963. She is preceded in death by her loving mother, Carol Ann Quimby Vess; and her two brothers, Daniel Ray Vess Jr. and Victor Scott Vess.

She is the beloved wife of 31 years of Edward Michael Lentz Sr She is the loving mother of Sara Tilghman (Joey), Edward Lentz Jr., and Albert Neil Vess. She is the devoted grandmother of Lillian Tilghman, Memphis Vess, Paris Vess, and Jackson Vess.

She is the cherished daughter of Daniel Ray Vess (Patricia). She is the loving sister of Linda Pederson (Buddy), and William Vess Sr. (Sabrina). She is also survived by her father-in-law, Carlo Rotolo; best friends, Lisa Skaggs and Ann Glass; nephew, William Vess, Jr.; other family and friends.

A loving mother and homemaker, Julie was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. Her passions were gardening, baking, and spending time with her grandbabies. She loved to spend her time reading and studying the word of God.

Julie had many hobbies including crocheting, making candles, shopping, and drawing. She was a loving friend to many. Julie dedicated her life to being a devoted wife and mother to her children and grandchildren.

She had a precious heart that touched the lives of many people. She loved whole heartedly each person she met. Julie believed and loved God and lived her life to serve His purpose.

Julie was a woman that made the world a better place and she will truly be missed by many. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Saturday, January 12, 2019 beginning at 11:00 AM until 1:15 PM at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:45PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 610 6th Street, Gretna, LA.
