June’s Obituary Funeral services for June L. Hamilton, 78 of New Windsor, are pending for next week, as we are waiting for family to travel. June died on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at Aledo Rehab & Healthcare Center. June was born on December 19, 1940 in Camp Point, Illinois to Charles & Lily M. (Ward) Vance.

She married Brenton John Hamilton on September 24, 1957 in New Windsor, Illinois. June worked for both the Winola and Sherrard School districts driving school bus. She loved all animals, especially her canine companion, Lady.

June also enjoyed reading, baking, gardening, painting and raising her kids. Those left to cherish June’s memory include her husband, John; children: Jim & Kristi Hamilton of Andalusia; Joy Lee & David Duritsky of Dekalb, TX; daughter-in-law: Kathy Hamilton of New Windsor; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren including: Jeremie Hamilton and his sons, Blake and Keiton. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons: Joe and Jacob; a brother, Jerry Vance and a sister in infancy.
