June’s Obituary Mrs. June Stone of Berry, KY. passed away Friday, March 15 at her home at the age of 89. Mrs. Stone was born November 19, 1929 in Cincinnati, OH.

to the late Daniel Berninger and Pearl McCauley Berninger. Mrs. Stone was a homemaker but for many years she worked as a cashier for the IGA Foodliner in Dry Ridge, KY. Mrs. Stone was a member of the Stringtown Christian Church.

When she was able she would help with the children during Vacation Bible School at the church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, watching and feeding the hummingbirds, working on the word search puzzles and she was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan. She is remembered by her family for her love and devotion to her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by brothers: Raymond Berninger and Melvin Berninger. Mrs. Stone is survived by her husband: Hanson Stone, a son: Danny Stone and his wife Brenda of Versailles, KY. , 3 daughters: Becky Martin and her husband Ed of Newnan, GA.

, Laura Stone of Celina, TX. , Kim Forman and her husband Nathan of Union, KY. , 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. June Stone will be conducted 3:00 pm Tuesday, March 19 in the chapel of the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main Street, Williamstown, KY. 41097 with Bro. Ed Martin officiating.

Visitation will also be on Tuesday, March 19 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY. Memorial contributions if desired may be directed to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY.
