Mr. Justin Glenn (Fat Back) Chavis of Raeford died Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst at the age of 29. Justin was born in Cumberland County on January 10, 1989. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Glenn Chavis.

He is survived by his Mother, Amy R. Chavis (Wesley Clevenger) of Aberdeen, Brother, John Paul Moore of Ft. Riley, KS, Grandmother, Joy Chavis of Aberdeen, Uncle, Marshall Chavis and his wife Wyann of Aberdeen, Aunt, Melissa Chavis of Raeford, and five cousins, Isaiah, Benjamin, Marshall, Laurie and Jeffery. The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday, September 9, 2018 between the hours of 2:00 PM and 2:50 PM at Crumpler Funeral Home, Raeford, NC.

A Graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM Sunday at Antioch Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Pastor Hubbard officiating.
