Juventino’s Obituary Mr. Juventino Antonio Gonzalez, Sr., 84, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 4, 2019. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alicia Vela Gonzalez; his parents, Juventino and Elvira Gonzalez; brother Luis Gonzalez, and sister Hilda Gonzalez. Juventino found peace in the Lord and is now resting with him in paradise.

Together, Juventino and Alicia raised a Loving family that will forever hold him in their memory. Juventino and Alicia enjoyed spending time at the family Ranch in Jim Hogg County, Los Arroyo’s Ranch; a section located in the Vela Peña Ranch. May your memory be forever a blessing and may you watch over us from heaven; rest in peace Juventino.

He is survived by his son, Juventino A. (Veronica) Gonzalez Jr.; grandchildren, Juventino A. (Tiffany) Gonzalez III, Jorge A. (Gina) Gonzalez, and Julissa (Eduardo) Mendoza; great grandchildren, Janelle A. Gonzalez, Katelyn M. Mendoza, and Jaelynn A. Gonzalez; sisters, Elvia Gonzalez, Rosario (Roy) Cavazos; and sister-in-law, Ernestina Vela Rodriguez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Road, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 in the evening.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning, February 7, 2019 departing the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Officiating will be Msgr. James Harris. Cremation will follow at a later date.

Pallbearers will be: Roy Cavazos, Antonio Gonzalez, Julian Vela III, Noe Rubio, Alvaro Villanueva, and Ricardo Gomez. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Roberto Rodriguez Jr., Ricardo Rodriguez and Rene Rodriguez. You may express your condolences to the family online at: www.
