Kala Shall Manheim Kala Shall Manheim, age 89, passed away on December 25, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, OH. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 6, 1929 to Ben and Minnie (Kest) Fain. Kala moved back to Toledo a year and a half ago after residing in Delray Beach Florida for many years.

A graduate of the University of Toledo, Kala taught English at both Scott and DeVilbiss High Schools prior to raising her family. She was a longtime member of The Temple-Congregation Shomer Emunim. Kala was preceded in death by her husband Fred Manheim and brother Beryl Fain.

Surviving are her sons, Dr. Steve (Nancy) Shall, Dr. Larry Shall, Dr. Jeff Shall and Richard (Lori) Shall. Seven grandsons; one granddaughter; and three great grandchildren also survive. Services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Temple Shomer Emunim 6453 W. Sylvania Ave.

Sylvania, Ohio. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
