Karen Accuttoroop, age 65, of Whiterocks Road, passed away January 26, 2019, at her home. She was born June 27, 1953, in Roosevelt, to Wesley Sr and Sophia Sireech Accuttoroop. Karen owned and operated a food stand, selling food from Nevada to Oklahoma and everywhere in between.

She enjoyed doing crafts, traveling to casinos, going on trips with her brother, and attending Pow Wows and Sundance. She also liked to go to bingo, which is where she got the nickname of “B8”. She loved her children and grandchildren, they were her world.

Karen is survived by her children, Kathiran “Kitty” (Athan) Standing Rock, Randlett; Andrew Paul “Buddy” (Rebecca) Wilson, Jr., Roosevelt; Belen Chapro, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren with one on the way; brothers and sisters, Helen Wash, Ft. Duchesne; Myron (Sylene) Accuttoroop, Bennett; Christine (Darryl) Santio, Ft. Duchesne; John Wesley Accuttoroop, Salt Lake City; Wesley “Bonky” Accuttoroop, Jr., Ft.

Duchesne; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her daughter Terrocita “Tiny” Wilson; parents, Wesley and Sophia; brothers and sisters, Dennis, Dale, Chris, Duane, Eleanor, Gary, & Corwyn Accuttoroop; Wanda American Horse; Amelia Joyce Serawop and a stillborn infant brother. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Randlett Community Building.
