Obituary for Karen Marie Dostal (Schmitt) Karen Marie Dostal, age 61, of Eden Prairie, passed peacefully on December 7, 2018 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She is preceded in death by her father James. She is survived by her husband, Daniel; mother, Margaret, siblings, Michael, Robert, John and Scott.

Karen was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years for University of Minnesota/Fairview heath care system. Karen was also very involved with the Shih Tzu Rescue of Minnesota as a volunteer and foster family. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, December 17 from 4-7 PM at Huber Funeral Home, 16394 Glory Ln, Eden Prairie, MN 55344.
