Obituary for Karen Postiglione SMART, FUNNY, BELOVED WIFE AND BEST FRIEND… Karen Patricia Postiglione, 61, of Pawleys Island, SC, Greensboro, GA and Acworth, GA. passed away suddenly on May 26th at her home in Pawleys Island, SC. Born July 4th, 1956 in Atlanta, GA, Karen was the daughter of the late Richard Paul Guthrie and the late Margaret Viola Phillips.

Prior to her retirement in 2007, She attended the University of Georgia and was a paralegal for the Law Firm of Goodman and Goodman in Atlanta, GA for many years. Survivors include her husband Robert “Bob” Postiglione, two sisters and a brother in Georgia. An avid reader and wordsmith, Karen enjoyed making people laugh and was delighting in the recent move to their new home in Greensboro, GA.

Her infectious laugh and knack for story telling will be missed by all who knew her… A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 1st, 2018 in the Pawleys Island Chapel of Goldfinch Funeral Home.
