Obituary for Donald Edward Hyman Myrtle Beach… Donald Edward Hyman, born February 26, 1930 in Conway, SC, passed away Friday May 18, 2018 in the SC Veterans Victory Home in Walterboro, SC with his wife by his side. He was the son of the late Julius B and Ruby Jordan Hyman. Predeceased by his brother William Carl Hyman (Oleita); sisters Ruth H. Willis and Lina H. Hanzely (Charlie).

Donald proudly served in the U. S. Air Force and retired in 1972 after twenty one years of service. He then was employed with the U.S. Postal Service and retired in 1992 with twenty years of service. Donald was a member of First Baptist Church of Myrtle Beach, where he was a lifetime Deacon and served his church faithfully in many capacities.

Survivors include his wife of over sixty three years, Mickey Hyman of Myrtle Beach, SC; one son Kenneth Edward Hyman (Annetta) of Savannah, GA; one daughter Donna Jo Hyman Hacia (Joe) of Tampa, FL; one grandson Brandon Edward Hacia; one granddaughter Hannah Jo Hacia Roberts (Shaun) all of Tampa, FL; two sisters Bessie H. Hathaway and Betty J. Martin (Billy) all of Myrtle Beach; brother–in–law Wayne Willis of Anderson, SC; sister-in-law Peggy Jones of Conway. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, May 21, 2018 at The First Baptist Church of Myrtle Beach with Rev.

Bruce Crawford officiating. Burial, with full Military honors, will follow at Bunker Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association at act.
