Obituary for Michele Kay Meyers Myrtle Beach. . Michele Kay Meyers Michele Kay Meyers age 52, died Monday, May 14, 2018 at MUSC.

Born in Philadelphia, PA at Chestnut Hill Hospital to Brenda I Meyers and William E. Meyers she was a graduate of Souderton High School and later Temple University School of Journalism in Philadelphia. Michele worked as a writer for Souderton Independent, North Penn Reporter, and The Allentown Morning Call and later trained as a pharmacy technician and worked at the Lehigh Valley Hospital. Retiring in Myrtle Beach she was a much loved ESL teacher on line.

Having a strong faith in God Michele was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach and was a deacon in the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, PA. In her free time, she enjoyed swimming, was an avid reader, corresponded with friends around the world and loved spending time with her dogs Maddie, Willie and cats Louie, Joey and Mae Mae. Michele was active in animal rescue and would like any donations to be made in her name at a Human Society of one’s choice.

Michele is survived by her brother, Bryan Meyers of Myrtle Beach and a sister, Beverly Smith of Athens, GA. A memorial service will be held at 9:30 AM Friday, May 18, 2018 at Goldfinch Funeral, Beach Chapel. Sign an online guestbook at www.
