Karen S. Kwiatkowski, 47, of Mantua, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at University Hospital Portage Medical Center. She was born November 8, 1971 in Ravenna, the daughter of Harold and Donna (Rodhe) Hillier. Karen was a 1989 graduate of Crestwood High School.

Besides being a homemaker she was employed by Walmart as a baker. In her spare time she enjoyed kayaking and spending time with her dogs and chickens, but above all else she enjoyed hanging out with her boyfriend her all of her special friends. Cherished memories of Karen will be carried on by her daughters Kristal (James) Jones of Ravenna, Amber Hillier of Mantua, boyfriend Kenny Timms of Mantua, brother Kenny Hillier of Kent, and sister Terri Hillier of Newton Falls.

Preceding Karen in death were her parents, and brothers Ronnie and Denny Hillier. A memorial is planned and will be announced shortly. Karen had a big heart and was always trying to help people.
