Karen Santon, age 59, passed away peacefully in Stuart, Florida. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts and lived in Port St Lucie, Florida. Karen’s life was one of love and devotion to her family.

She was absolutely delighted with her grandchildren, doting on them with all her care and charm. She possessed a sparkling intellect, some said she had a Ph. D in common sense.

Karen was an incredible cook, had impeccable fashion sense, and enjoyed her Red Sox/Patriots Teams, but dearest to her was her beloved dog Remy. She enjoyed card games, board games, and the casino jaunts all helped to keep her laser focus in shape. Karen owned and managed her own child day care, while raising her own two children as a single mom.

She then spent decades working in medical administration where her extraordinary organization skills shined. There are four people who have been given a new chance at life by Karen’s wishes to donate her organs. That final act of giving best describes Karen’s soul.

Survivors include her husband Ron Santon; mother Elena Finer; son Joseph Mayo; daughter Danielle Davagian; Scott Davagian, son-in-law; step-son John Santon; step-daughter Cathleen Santon; grandchildren Adriana Mayo, Brayden Davagian, Scott Davagian, and Cole Davagian; nieces Janine Amara and Jen Stellmach; and nephew Billy Welch. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Finer and brother Dominic Amara. Services: A gathering will be held Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 10am-11am with a service to follow at 11am at Haisley Funeral Home Tribute Center in Port St Lucie, FL.
