Karen Sue Roy October 19, 1944 – March 12, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card ROY, Karen Sue – Of Grand Blanc, age 74, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Regency of Grand Blanc. Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating. Cremation has taken place and burial will take place at a later date at Sunset Hills Cemetery.

Visitation 2 p.m. Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Karen was born in Flint, Michigan on October 19, 1944, the daughter of the late Bruce and Eleanor (Decker) Carter. Karen worked for Buick Motor Division for 25 years and was a member of UAW Local #599.

She was an avid reader, especially crime novels; loved her dogs; and most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are sons, Scott (Crystal) and Mark; daughter-in-law, Tammy; granddaughters, Megan and Raven; sister, Linda (Walter); many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marco (Tony) Mont in 2008 and second husband, Ray, in 2011.
