Nola’s Obituary CAMPBELL, Nola Learline – Of Flint, age 92, died Sunday, March 10, 2019. Funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Minister Troy Postlethwait officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.

Those desiring may make contributions to Grand Blanc Church of Christ. Visitation 5-8pm Tuesday and 10am Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Learline was born in Marmaduke, Arkansas on June 11, 1926, the daughter of the late Luther and Oather (Hill) Starnes and was a resident of Flint since 1952, having come from Marmaduke, Arkansas.

She was a school teacher in Greene County, Arkansas from 1946-1949. She married Virgle C. Campbell on January 18, 1951 in Paragould, Arkansas. Learline was employed at A.C. Spark Plug for 7 years, from 1953-1960.

Most importantly, Learline enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She was a member of Grand Blanc Church of Christ. Surviving are daughters, Shaliah and husband Jim Armstrong and Carla Colbert; son-in-law Derek Colbert; grandchildren, Jami and husband Darren May, Christopher Colbert and Sarah Armstrong; great-grandchildren, James Darren, Lila and Atticus May; brother, Wayne and wife, Betty Starnes; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgle C. on February 13, 2004, 2 brothers, James and Phineas and sisters, Thelma Hoggard, Anna Bee Staires, Pauline Baker, Helen Hass, and Sue Gainey. Special thank you to the staff at Briarwood, especially Pat, Cassy, Lisa, Roberta, Sharon and Deb for all their loving care.
