Karen Sue Schnapp, 69 of Pawnee passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at her home. She was born Feb. 22, 1949 in Springfield, IL the daughter of Kenneth and Kathryn Seiz Sanders.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Kevin Scott, and brother, Kent Sanders. She married Richard “Dick” Schnapp on March 29, 1997. Karen was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn.

She enjoyed camping and riding motorcycles with her husband. Surviving are her husband, Dick; daughter, Kendra (Nick) Steele; six grandchildren, Aedyn, Jamie, Jennifer, Trevor, Ryan, and Brady; stepson, David (Bonnie) Schnapp; sister, Karla (John) Enrietto; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till time of services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn with Rev.

Martin Kaufmann officiating. Burial will be in Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Auburn.
