Karina I. Orellano Beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter and Sister, 45 Mrs. Karina I. Orellano, 45, of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Hackensack University Medical Center. There will be a funeral service celebrated at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Thursday, March 7 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. The interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

Karina was born in Lima, Peru and resided in Bloomfield for the past 10 years. She was a PACS Sr. Clinician for Children’s Aid and Family Services, Fair Lawn for the past three years. Previously, she was employed as a Sr. Clinician at UMDNJ, Newark.

Karina earned a Psychology Degree from Christopher Newport University, Newport News, VA, and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University, Newark. She is survived by her beloved husband of 22 years, Elkin Orellano, her beloved daughters Adrianna and Sophia Orellano; her loving parents Jose and Dora (nee Jiminez) Pinto; and her loving brother Jean Pierre Pinto. She is also the loving daughter-in-law of Pedro and Carmen (nee Cahuana) Orellano.
