OBITUARY Katherine Houston November 25, 1927 – November 14, 2018 Katherine Jean Houston entered into this life November 25, 1927 in Glennwood, Arkansas to parents Albert J. and Bertha Lee (Hammonds) Hughes and entered into eternal rest on November 14, 2018 at the age of 90. Katherine was the type of person that was loved by everyone. She was kind, humble, generous, always smiling and never complained.

Katherine loved her kids and did all she could to raise them right. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking and having her family around. The Holidays were her favorite time of the year.

Katherine was married to the late Baty Houston Sr., November 25, 1945 on her 18th birthday. She was a Baptist by faith and attended Calvary Baptist Church. Katherine was a loving, caring person who will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her.

Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers: Bill, Walter, Odis and Harold Ray Hughes and sister Earnestine Hughes – Baugh. She is survived by son Jackie Houston and spouse Joann of Waxahachie, daughter Margie Houston of Kemp, son Baty Houston Jr. and spouse Carolyn of Plano, son Weldon Huston and spouse Mary of Gun Barrel City, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren, brothers: Virgil Henderson and spouse Carolyn of LaTexco, Tracy Henderson and spouse Betty of Crocette, sister Reba Smiley of Kaufman, brother Albert Henderson and spouse Sharon of Kemp, other loving family members and many more friends.
