K. Louise Glynn of Braintree, age 96, wife of the late John Gallagher and William (Budge) Glynn, passed in peace reaching for God’s hand Tuesday June 19th, 2018. Loving and proud mother of Joan (Gallagher) Blackwell and the late Jane Laskey Gallagher. She was called G.G. by her grandchildren Michael Blackwell, Tracy Laskey, Timothy Blackwell, Karen (Blackwell) O’Toole and James Laskey Jr. Also, the great grandmother to Gaelen Suarez, Thomas O’Toole, Perry & Tristan Suarez, Molly O’Toole, and Alex Laskey.

She was a loving sister to the late Eleanor Osborne, Elizabeth (Betty) Hough, William Gauthier, and Edward (Ted) Gauthier. Seven stepchildren also survive her. Louise was a charter member of the Braintree Woman’s Club and a long-standing member of the Gardeners’ Guild of Braintree.

One of her proudest moments was volunteering at the Brockton VA hospital. Her strength and wisdom will be missed but not forgotten. Visiting hours will be on Monday June 25th from 9 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Mortimer N. Peck Funeral Chapels, 516 Washington Street, Braintree, leaving in procession to St. Francis of Assisi Church at 11:20 for a High Mass at St. Francis at 11:30 A.M. Upon leaving St. Francis Church at 12:30 P.M., going in procession to the graveside Committal, at the Blue Hills Cemetery for a 12:45 P.M. burial.

Donations may be made to the Braintree Flower Guild or to the Women’s Club of Braintree in memory of K. Louise Glynn.
