BRAINTREE – Richard G. Maddock, age 59, passed away on Monday June 11th, at his home. He was born in Boston and he grew up in South Boston. He graduated from the Christopher Columbus High School in the North End.

He became a laborer and worked on large projects such as Boston’s Big Dig. He loved hockey and especially loved the Boston Bruins, as well as the other home town teams. He was the son of the late Henry C. Maddock and his wife, the late Jacqueline D. Maddock of Boston.

He was proceeded in death by his late brother Robert Maddock. He is survived by his brother Dennis Maddock and his wife Cheryl of Plymouth, MA. He also is survived by a nephew, Ryan Maddock and a niece, Meaghan Moore and her husband Matthew.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Charitable donations in Richard’s memory may be made to a charity of your choosing.
