Katherine’s Obituary A memorial service for Kate Schirck, age 69, of Milaca, formerly of Lexington, will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Daniel Carlson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at church.

Katherine “Kate” I. Schirck was born June 25, 1949 to Herbert and Ethel Rosch in Bemidji, Minnesota. She graduated from Bemidji High School and attended Concordia College in Saint Paul. She was united in marriage to Ted Schirck on August 24, 1968 in Wilton, Minnesota.

She was a tax preparer at Frank Warneke Tax Service and H & R Block. Kate loved bowling, golf, fishing, and travel. She loved to see different places and participated in 25 national bowling tournaments.

She passed away January 21, 2019 at Sterling Pointe Senior Living in Princeton. Kate is survived her husband, Ted, of Milaca; son Theodore (Tammy) of Maple Grove; grandchildren, Sara and Jason of Maple Grove; brothers and sisters, Robert Rosch of Bemidji, Carol Ann Olson of Bemidji, and Beryl Rodin of Duluth. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Timothy; and sister, Jean Rosch.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to a local food shelf.
