OBITUARY Kathleen “Kathy” Smith January 16, 1960 – January 9, 2019 Kathleen “Kathy” Smith, 58, of Fort Wayne passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. She was born on January 16, 1960, a daughter of the late Clifford and Katy (Harman) Ramer. She worked at Industrial Engineering in data entry for 10 years and later at Easter Seals ARC.

She enjoyed reading, surfing the internet, and swimming. Surviving family include her daughters, Donna Smith and Taneisha Nickels; grandchildren, Jarod Johnson, Trayvon Nickels, Tyshawn and Devin Foreman; boyfriend, Naf Maloley; sisters, Deborah Whitacker, Peggy Ramer, Melissa Vestal; brothers, Michael, Larry, Ricky, Christopher, and Steven Ramer; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Cass E. Smith; and sister, Carolyn Ormiston.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6600 Covington Rd. , Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.

Greenlawn Funeral Home, Fort Wayne is handling arrangements.
