Kathleen R. Duck, 70, of Toledo passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice at Flower Hospital, Toledo. She was born on August 22, 1948 in Toledo to Edward J. and Ruth E. (Kroeger) Duck. Kathy graduated from Start High School in Toledo in 1966.

She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education & Business from the University of Toledo in 1970. She worked as a jockey and horse trainer for many years. She had a love for horses and was one of the first female jockeys in the area.

… Read More » Kathy is survived by cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and most recently her aunt, Lois Lenz, who just passed away on September 10, 2018. Graveside services for Kathy will be conducted 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Rusha Cemetery, N. Toussaint South Rd.
